Acabo de recibir el siguiente mensaje por Skype:

This is an opportunity I would like us to utilize very well. I am Mr. Felix Edward, an officer in charge of Auditing and Accounting section with (Ghana Comercial Bank Ltd), and also a Relationship Account Officer to Dr. Wilson Muniz. In 2007, One Late Dr. Wilson Muniz, a citizen of your country had a fixed deposit with my bank for 36 calendar months, valued US$7,400,000.00 (Seven Million, Four Hundred Thousand US Dollars) the maturity date for this deposit contract was this 16th August 2010.

Sadly, DR. WILSON was among the death victims in the Earthquake disaster that occurred on the May 12, 2008 in Sichuan province of China that killed thousands of people. He was in China on a business trip and that was how he met his end, I have carried out various inquiries to locate any of his clients and extended relatives but this has proved unsuccessful. Since the demise of this our customer, DR. WILSON who was a seasoned oil Merchant/contractor here, I have kept a close watch of the deposit records and accounts and since then no body has come to claim the said money in this a/c as next of kin. ¿Qué mal huele verdad? Dinero en Ghana, un terremoto en China para dar lástima... ¡Se ve a la legua! Tan sencillo como ir a Google y ver que hay el mismo mensaje repetido con muchos nombres. Por favor, ¡estamos en 2011! ¿Hasta cuándo recibiremos emails así? ¿Cuándo mis contactos de Hotmail dejarán de enviarme mensajes para adelgazar y de Viagra? Limpiaos los virus, los spam! Quizás Internet esté asociado íntegramente a toda esta basura... :-(

Me recuerda a una vez que buscaba piso y encontré uno en la calle Narváez, pleno barrio Salamanca, por 300 euros... ja ja ja! Con sus fotos colgadas en Idealista o Fotocasa pero zás... un poco de Google Street View y no se correspondían. No era el único. Las estafas en internet son tan burdas, tan desmontables... ¡Cuidado!
